FURACILIN AVEXIMA

Furacilin Avexima is an antimicrobial agent.

It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Escherichia coli, Clostridium perfringens). It is effective in case of microbial resistance to other antimicrobial drugs (not belonging to the group of nitrofurans). Resistance to nitrofuran develops slowly and does not achieve a high degree.

Indications

  • tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis;
  • blepharitis, conjunctivitis;
  • suppurative wounds, bedsores;
  • II-III grade burns;
  • minor skin damages (including abrasions, scratches, fissures, cuts).
Method of administration and posology:

  • in tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis - dissolve 20 mg (1 tablet) in 100 mL of water; mouth and throat gargling using 100 mL 2-3 times daily
  • in blepharitis, conjunctivitis - instill the aqueous solution into a conjunctival sac.

0.02 % aqueous solution - wounds irrigation and application of wet dressings.

Shelf life

2 years. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date.
